Al Madar extends LTE-A coverage to Ajdabiya

Libyan cellular operator Almadar Aljaded (Al Madar), the country’s second largest mobile network operator (MNO) by subscribers, has announced ‘4G+’ coverage has now been extended to Ajdabiya, capital of the Al Wahat District in the north east of the country. Al Madar launched its LTE-A network, which uses the 1800MHz band, in the Greater Tripoli area in October 2018 and has since expanded the service to Benghazi and Misrata.
