15 Aug 2019

Singapore’s state investment arm Temasek Holdings has launched an overnight block trade for THD15.6 billion (USD505.67 million) or 8.02% of its stake in Thai-based InTouch Holdings (formerly known as Shin Corp), owned via Aspen Holdings and Anderton Investments, Reuters writes.

TeleGeography notes that InTouch Holdings owns 40.45% of Thai operator Advanced Info Service (AIS), while Singapore’s Singtel has a 23.32% stake (with 36.23% of AIS in free float on the Stock Exchange of Thailand). Temasek Holdings has a 41.45% direct stake in InTouch via its wholly owned Thai-registered unit Aspen Holdings; Temasek also directly owns a controlling stake in Singtel. In December 2011 Singtel raised its direct stake in AIS to its current level by buying a 2% share from InTouch for THB7.9 billion.
