T-Mobile launching 5G test sites in The Hague

9 Jul 2019

T-Mobile Netherlands is launching three 5G test network sites this month in collaboration with the Municipality of The Hague, located at Scheveningen, The Hague Tech (Central Innovation District) and T-Mobile’s head office in the city. Frequency bands used at the research sites include 700MHz, 3.5GHz and 26GHz, with companies including start-ups invited to develop and test applications using 5G technology. T-Mobile aims to introduce commercial 5G services including ‘full coverage’ of The Hague in 2020, initially utilising the 700MHz band.
