Telekom Srbija acquires Masko

18 Feb 2019

Telekom Srbija has acquired cable operator Masko from businessman Momcilo Djuric, after receiving approval from the Commission for Protection of Competition (Komisija za Zastitu Konkurencije, KZK). The Belgrade-based triple-play provider was formed in 2001, and currently offers maximum download speeds of up to 150Mbps.

As previously reported by TeleGeography’s CommsUpdate, Telekom Srbija acquired another cableco, Kopernikus, for around EUR200 million (USD228 million) in November 2018. In January 2019, it went on to buy a further two cable operators, Radijus Vektor and AVcom, for an undisclosed fee.
