DELTA signs up first 10,000 customers outside Zeeland

19 Dec 2018

Dutch cableco DELTA – part of DELTA CAIW – has signed up 10,000 customers outside its traditional home market of Zeeland, having announced earlier this year that it was expanding to new areas by offering services over local fibre networks. Netherlands-based Telecompaper reports that DELTA has participated in 21 fibre demand aggregation campaigns and is now activating signed-up customers, with the first local services already live in Langbroek (Utrecht). Other areas involved include Limburg, Brabant, Gelderland, Zuid-Holland, Noord-Holland and Drenthe, and the company aims to have a presence in ‘every province’ next year.

DELTA and sister cableco/fibre operator Caiway are continuing their integration under parent EQT, most recently disclosing that they have unified their billing systems using LogNet Billing’s MaxBill solution.
