Telesol launches TD-LTE network in Ghana

Ghanaian ISP Telesol has officially launched its TD-LTE wireless broadband network across five regions, writes Pulse. Telesol Managing Director Funmi Lamptey said: ‘Telesol is focused on bridging the digital divide between Africa and the rest of the world starting from Ghana by making the global resource available through fast connectivity.’ As previously reported by TeleGeography’s CommsUpdate, Telesol teamed up with Parallel Wireless last month to deploy an open RAN, carrier-grade base station Converged Wireless System (CWS).
