Telekom enables 250Mbps fixed broadband for 2.4m more homes

Telekom Deutschland (TD), the domestic operating unit of Deutsche Telekom (DT), has enabled maximum fixed broadband speeds of 250Mbps for an additional 2.4 million households over the last four weeks. The latest upgrade work has increased the total number of 250Mbps-capable homes to nearly 14 million across Germany. In addition, TD has rolled out vectoring technology to a further 110,000 lines to enable maximum speeds of 100Mbps, raising total coverage of those speeds to 25.4 million households.
