BTRC bans packages with less than seven days validity

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has scrapped all voice and data packages with up to six days validity, New Age Bangladesh writes. Mobile operators GrameenPhone (GP), Robi, Banglalink and Teletalk were asked to implement the BTRC directive, which states that all voice/data packages must have validity of between seven and 30 days, from 9 December this year.
