24 Sep 2018

Uzbek operator Unitel (trading as Beeline) will publicly demonstrate a test 5G network within the framework of the ‘Mobicon 2018’ mobile conference taking place in Tashkent next month, reports UzDaily. Beeline’s demonstration network – reportedly the first of its type in Uzbekistan – is based on Huawei equipment, with all visitors to the conference invited to test 5G technology. Beeline, part of the VEON group, is highlighting the 5G standard’s capabilities for meeting high speed data demand for massive numbers of devices including M2M/IoT connectivity.
