Lifecell/Vega fixed/mobile packages to follow Lifecell/Volia bundling

Ukrainian fixed line operator Vega – owned by the SCM conglomerate – and cellco Lifecell are planning to offer ‘convergent’ services in partnership, likely to involve bundled fixed and mobile packages, reports Liga.net. The move follows a similar TV/fixed broadband/mobile bundling scheme between Turkcell-backed Lifecell and Ukraine’s leading cableco Volia, launched in May this year, which has attracted ‘tens of thousands’ (‘but so far less than 100,000’) subscribers, Volia CEO George Zhemberi told Liga.net.
