YahClick launches in Ghana with Comsys, Teledata ICT

7 Sep 2018

UAE-based satellite firm Yahsat has officially launched its YahClick service in Ghana, in association with local partner firms Comsys and Teledata ICT, which are expected to sell the product to end-users. According to Teledata, an ISP which also provides fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) connectivity, YahClick is capable of delivering down/uplink speeds of up to 25Mbps/6Mbps.

Yahsat Africa executive Denver Bartman commented: ‘By providing connectivity to individuals and business using the Ka-band powered by High Throughput Satellite (HTS) spot beam technology, we are certain that YahClick will bring a more robust internet infrastructure in Ghana, and the impact across businesses, communities and government will be significant. Overall it will contribute to making Ghana a more attractive investment prospect.’
