Personal Paraguay launches FTTH in Asuncion

Telecom Personal Paraguay has launched fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) connectivity in selected neighbourhoods of capital city Asuncion, following investment of around USD60 million. A premium 100Mbps subscription is priced at PYG299,000 (USD51.3) per month, with free installation. Going forward, CEO Juan Carlos Pepe notes that the fibre-optic network is set to be extended to cities such as Encarnacion and Ciudad del Este in due course.
