Telenor Sweden completes brand consolidation in three-way ‘marriage’

Telenor Sweden has converged all of its fixed and mobile services under the single Telenor name, phasing out its ISP brands Bredbandsbolaget and Glocalnet. CEO Patrik Hofbauer commented: ‘You can say that we have been engaged for over ten years when we have shared both the logo and the organisation. Now we get married and take the same name and become an even clearer challenger in the market.’ Telenor Sweden currently has 2.7 million mobile subscribers, approximately 680,000 fibre and broadband customers, and half a million pay-TV customers.
