Bulgarian cellco Vivacom is planning to expand its LTE-A network to 44 locations by July, following the introduction of the service last month. As previously reported by TeleGeography CommsUpdate, Vivacom launched LTE-A services using carrier aggregation (CA) in the 1800MHz and 2100MHz bands in early April, thus upping download speeds over the network to 150Mbps. The faster speeds are currently available in Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Rousse and Stara Zagora.
