PTI acquires 215 mobile towers from Digicel Antilles-Francaise Guyane

Phoenix Tower International (PTI) has acquired the ownership and management rights of 215 telecoms towers from Digicel Antilles-Francaise Guyane – which comprises a trio of cellular units in French Guiana, Guadeloupe and Martinique – for an undisclosed sum. Choate Hall & Stewart LLP and Dentons Europe acted as legal advisors to PTI, while Orrick and Mayer Brown acted as legal advisors to Digicel. Digicel Group CEO Colm Delves, commented: ‘We’re very pleased to be partnering with PTI on this transaction in the French West Indies, having previously successfully done so in El Salvador. We look forward to continue building on the strong partnership already established between Digicel and PTI.’
