TSTT renames Massy as AMPLIA Communications with bmobile branding

5 Dec 2017

Telecommunications Services of Trinidad & Tobago (TSTT) has renamed fixed broadband/pay-TV operator Massy Communications as AMPLIA Communications Ltd, writes the Guardian. As previously reported by TeleGeography’s CommsUpdate, TSTT signed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA) to buy 100% of Massy in May this year, and the acquisition was finalised in August for a purchase fee of TTD215 million (USD31.3 million). The Guardian reports TSTT as stating that from 1 December AMPLIA would market a ‘unique’ set of products and services under TSTT’s converged bmobile brand, including recently launched unlimited voice bundles.
