Triple Dutch: broadband players consolidate under M7 Group

M7 Group has fully acquired two broadband operators in the Netherlands, Fiber Nederland and the latter’s subsidiary Stipte, adding to the Luxembourg-based group’s existing Dutch broadband unit News of the acquisition’s completion was reported by Dutch websites including Formerly independently-owned Fiber Nederland acquired Stipte in January 2016, and the two distinct brands have continued to operate side-by-side to date, whilst M7 – which bought in December 2013 – also controls pay-TV operator Canal Digitaal in the Netherlands., Fiber NL and Stipte all offer triple-play internet, telephony and digital TV over the high speed local access networks of KPN Wholesale/Reggefiber, whilst Stipte subscribers can also opt for a mobile broadband MVNO-based service, TeleGeography notes.
