Bell Canada has announced that its quad-band (four-band carrier aggregation) LTE Advanced (LTE-A) network with theoretical download speeds of up to 750Mbps is now available in nearly 40 cities/communities in eight provinces across Canada. Bell began deploying the advanced 750Mbps-capable network configuration, supported by 256QAM technology, in April, with real-world downlink speeds of between 22Mbps and 174Mbps available to Samsung Galaxy S8 handset users, including subscribers to Bell’s wholly-owned Virgin Mobile Canada brand.
