Dutch telecoms group KPN has completed the takeover of smaller rival Solcon, which provides residential and B2B internet, fixed/mobile telephony, TV and data centre/hosting services in the Netherlands. Dronten-based Solcon, founded in 1996, currently serves around 45,000 consumer customers alongside its corporate clients, its press release says. Following the acquisition by KPN, Solcon will continue to market services under its own brand.
