Bolt! breaks three million subscriber barrier

19 Jun 2017

Indonesian 4G wireless broadband Internux (Bolt!), owned by First Media via PT Mitra Mandiri, has reported signing up its three millionth subscriber, up from 2.8 million in January 2017, and targets a further 1.3 million net additions by the end of the year. The operator, which offers a range of 4G Ultra LTE-branded packages, says it is marking the milestone by thanking its customers with a new campaign ‘BOLT 4Content for The Crazy People’ which will foreground truly unlimited internet browsing, through its Unlimited Mobile Package and Unlimited Home Package. Further, the operator says it will continue building out its LTE network and envisions the rollout of 450 new base stations this year to support its subscriber drive, augmenting the 3,600 on air at end-2016.
