BH Telecom contracts Ericsson Nikola Tesla for fixed line OSS modernisation

30 May 2017

BH Telecom has selected Ericsson Nikola Tesla to upgrade and expand its Operations Support System related to its fixed line network. In a press release, the Croatia-based vendor confirmed that the contract is valued at HRK6.6 million (USD1 million), which the pair claim will continue and strengthen cooperation in this field, following the realisation of a contract for OSS work related to BH Telecom’s mobile network. Now, the contracted solution for the telco’s fixed infrastructure will reportedly enable the implementation and delivery of fixed services ‘in a very short period of time’. The OSS implementation project is due to start immediately, and is expected to be completed within a year.
