Telemach inks deal to utilise Elektroprivreda HZHB’s infrastructure

6 Feb 2017

Bosnian cableco Telemach has announced an agreement with public power utility company Elektroprivreda HZHB under which it will utilise the latter’s low-voltage poles to expand the reach of its broadband services. In a press release outlining the development, Telemach said that the deal falls in line with the EU directive on measures to reduce the cost of deploying high speed electronic communications networks (2014/61/EU). With it confirmed that Telemach will pay BAM1.18 million (around USD650,000) to Elektroprivreda for utilising its infrastructure, it was also noted that the former’s subsidiaries Monet, Artnet and BHB would benefit from the deal.
