Crnogorski Telekom, Ericsson achieve LTE speeds of 435Mbps

Montenegrin operator Crnogorski Telekom. in collaboration with Ericsson Nikola Tesla, has reported achieving 4G LTE mobile data speeds of over 435Mbps on its commercial network via triple-carrier aggregation (3C) LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) technology using the 800MHz, 1800MHz and 2600MHz frequency bands. The fastest speeds are currently available at four locations in Montenegro, a press release from Ericsson adds, whilst noting that Crnogorski Telekom is planning expansion of 3C LTE-A technology at a large number of locations, and that further expansion of the LTE network will be achieved particularly via the accelerated utilisation of the 800MHz band to propagate the 4G signal in remote and mountainous areas.
