19 Oct 2016

Mobile network infrastructure supplier Tecore Networks has announced that its LTE Mobility Virtualised Platform (MVP) has been selected by Blue Arcus Technologies for deployment in the Marshall Islands. The vendor says that its MVP product delivers scalable solutions to operators, which are cost-effective for deploying, extending and evolving their networks, particularly in islands and remote communities. The platform includes the Mobility Management Entity (MME), Serving Gateway (SGW), Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW), Home Subscriber Server (HSS), voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) and Circuit Switched Fallback (CSFB) to the existing GSM network.

‘We look forward to leveraging our expertise and products to facilitate Blue Arcus in the evolution of its network to include LTE. Our continued focus is to advance our products through experience gained in each unique deployment to better service our customers,’ commented Jay Salkini, founder and CEO of Tecore Networks, adding: ‘We are very pleased that our LTE MVP has been chosen by Blue Arcus Technologies, and we are ready to begin this voyage with our new partners and their dedicated team.’
