SWAN takes flight with VoLTE

13 Oct 2016

The Slovakian cellular operator SWAN Mobile, which trades as ‘4ka’, has announced the launch of what it says is the country’s first voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) service. The cellco says the technology will offer faster call connection times and improved voice quality. VoLTE is available to all 4ka subscribers with compatible devices at no additional cost. The firm, which recently marked its first anniversary with the announcement that it had reached 250,000 customers, says its LTE network currently covers 64% of Slovakia’s population.
