Cooolbox launches 1Gbps FTTH service in two towns

15 Sep 2016

Bulgarian regional broadband provider Cooolbox (previously known as ITD Network) has launched a direct fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) service for residential subscribers in the towns of Plovdiv and Veliko Turnovo. The operator’s cooolNet plan, which provides download speeds of 1Gbps with uplink of 1Gbps (national) or 100Mbps (international), costs BGN24.90 (USD14.32) on a month-by-month basis.

TeleGeography notes that business-oriented ISP ITD Networks – which was established in 1995 – completed its three-year restructuring plan costing BGN5 million in October 2015, while also adopting the Cooolbox banner. The ISP offers direct fibre-based services in the towns of Sofia, Plovdiv and Veliko Turnovo.
