Horizon Capital increases Datagroup stake to above 70%

Ukrainian Investment group Horizon Capital has increased its equity stake in fixed broadband network operator Datagroup to more than 70%, giving it operational control of the company, reports BizLiga. Datagroup’s founder, Alexander Kardakov retains a minority stake. Horizon Capital – which first obtained a 25%-30% share in Datagroup in 2010 – is a private company in Ukraine which manages three private equity funds with a total capital of more than USD600 million.
