Gilat Satcom launches Ugandan operation

Pan-African business internet provider Gilat Satcom has announced the launch of a new ISP operation in Uganda. The parent says that its new Gilat Satcom Uganda division has already signed up more than 60 enterprise customers around the country’s main business centres in Kampala and Entebbe. Gilat Satcom operates both satellite and fibre-based international networks covering over 30 African countries, with connections to the WACS, EASSy and SEACOM subsea cable systems. Uganda is the third country in which Gilat Satcom has established a physical presence, joining Nigeria and Ghana.
