Serbia’s MTS books 4.2% increase in annual revenue

State-owned operator Telekom Srbija, which offers services under the MTS brand, generated total annual revenue of RSD93.3 billion (USD839.8 million) in 2015, an increase of 4.2% compared to 2014. Profit for the year was RSD16.3 billion, whilst investment rose by 64% year-on-year to RSD20.1 billion, its highest level since 2010, the telco notes. The operator announced that, as a result of its positive performance, it would be paying out dividends totalling RSD12.3 billion, including RSD8.9 billion to the government’s coffers.
