Liberty PR confirms completion of Choice Cable integration

19 Apr 2016

Cable operator Liberty Puerto Rico has confirmed that its recently acquired Choice Cable TV unit has now been fully integrated with its central operation. The USD273 million takeover, which united Puerto Rico’s two cablecos, was first agreed in December 2014 and closed in June 2015. As a result of the integration process Liberty PR now serves approximately 777,000 subscribers across 75 municipalities; the enlarged business counts around 1,000 employees.

Naji Khoury, president and CEO of Liberty PR, commented: ‘This union will bring efficiencies and enhance our ability to invest in our next generation infrastructure, enable us to expand and train our staff and therefore provide better products, services and offers to our residential and commercial customers’.
