Kyivstar 3G nears 40% of Ukraine’s population

Ukraine’s mobile market leader Kyivstar, part of the VimpelCom group, has disclosed that its 3G UMTS network now reaches almost 40% of the population. Following W-CDMA/HSPA+ expansion to 70 additional settlements in Q1 2016, Kyivstar’s 3G network now covers 614 cities, towns and villages.
