Orange Romania is allowing its customers to test 375Mbps LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) mobile internet speeds in four of its retail outlets in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi, using Samsung handsets. Orange Romania currently provides LTE-A network speeds (up to a theoretical 300Mbps) in 13 cities, and the new peak speed boost to 375Mbps has been achieved via triple carrier aggregation (3CA), using three spectrum bands compared to the two bands currently used in the commercial LTE-A network.
