4 Mar 2016

Bosnian multi-service provider BH Telecom has revealed that its pre-tax net profit for the year ended 31 December 2015 was BAM89.9 million (USD50 million), representing a 1.3% increase against the previous fiscal year. According to Reuters, the telco’s revenues fell by 4.8% year-on-year to BAM542 million, though EBITDA was up by 5% in FY 2015 at BAM209.8 million, with costs declining by 32% to BAM334.1 million.

Commenting on both the annual financial performance and the year ahead, BH Telecom’s general manager Mirsad Zaimovic was cited as saying: ‘We achieved a better result last year thanks to more effective cost managing and we are again Bosnia’s telecoms market leader … Our goal this year is to stabilise and maintain the leader’s position.’
