RATEL opens call for 3.4GHz-3.8GHz airwaves

Serbian telecoms watchdog the Republic Agency for Electronic Communications (RATEL) has invited expressions of interest for spectrum in the 3400MHz-3600MHz and 3600MHz-3800MHz bands for broadband fixed wireless access (BFWA) and mobile/fixed communications networks (MFCN). Interested parties have been given 20 days to submit applications, with details of their desired frequency band and block size as well as the technology the airwaves would be used for, including whether the service would be fixed, mobile or nomadic, and the intended coverage area and planned number of base stations.
