Vodafone Ireland has announced that it has enhanced its 4G+ (i.e. LTE-A) network to deliver improved speeds of up to 225Mbps, claiming to be the first operator in the country to offer the faster download rates to end-users. Initially covering Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford, the 4G+ network is available to all users signed up to the following tariffs: Vodafone Red Business, Red Super Business, Red Extra, Red Super and Red Extra Super. The upgrade is available to subscribers at no extra cost until March 2016, while compatible 4G+ smartphones include the Samsung S5+, the Sony Xperia Z3+ and the Vodafone Smart Ultra.
