Max extends 4G footprint; reveals seaside summer plans

Bulgarian mobile operator Max (previously Max Telecom) has extended the footprint of its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to Novi Iskar and Kostinbrod, giving it coverage of a total of 17 cities and tourist resorts. The network supports maximum theoretical down/uplink speeds of 75Mbps/25Mbps. Going forward, the company has disclosed plans to increase its rollout during the summer season, and will add coverage in a number of seaside resorts along the Black Sea coast, from Kavarna to Ahtopol, as well as the cities of Elin Pelin and Bozhurishte.

Following this week’s deployment, Max offers 4G coverage of Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Stara Zagora, Ruse, Sliven, Pleven, Pernik, Blagoevgrad, Novi Iskar, Kostinbrod and the resorts Bansko, Hisarya, Velingrad, Golden Sands and St Constantine & Helena.
