Kyivstar publishes new 3G tariffs ahead of launch

29 May 2015

Ukraine’s largest cellco by subscribers Kyivstar announced new 3G tariff plans yesterday (28 May 2015), although it has yet to launch its new W-CDMA/HSPA+ network commercially, with services remaining in test mode in several cities. Interfax reports that a new tariff for smartphones includes 500MB of mobile 3G traffic and unrestricted on-net calls for a monthly payment of UAH55 (USD2.53). An ‘All Inclusive’ tariff allows 1.5GB of mobile data traffic, unlimited on-net calls, plus unlimited access to social networks for UAH95 per month (or a 2.5GB version costing UAH150). Existing subscribers will be able to sign up for additional 3G internet packages costing from UAH20 to UAH150.
