14 May 2015

Turk Telekom International (TTI) has selected Japanese solutions provider NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) to supply wholesale IP transit services, in a move which TTI claims will support the growing demand for its data, infrastructure and wholesale services. Turk Telekom International CEO Cengiz Oztelcan commented: ‘We are committed to making Turkey a major hub for data and voice exchange and investing in new markets to extend our customers’ regional and global reach.’

TTI provides wholesale services to internet service providers (ISPs), alternative carriers, mobile operators, cable TV companies and corporate customers, and manages the international data and voice business operations of Turk Telekom. TTI presides over a network spanning 19 countries across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the Caucasus region; the network consists of more than 40,000km of fibre-optic cable.
