PTS corrects previous 4G mobile network coverage figures due to Telia overstating

14 May 2015

Due to previous incorrect reported data from the country’s largest operator by subscribers TeliaSonera (Telia), Sweden’s telecoms regulator PTS has corrected a mobile coverage report originally issued in March 2015, having now received the correct data from Telia. Based on the new data, PTS says that in terms of the combined networks of all four Swedish LTE operators, geographical (territorial) coverage for 4G LTE services with 10Mbps or higher data speeds reached 48% (compared with the previously reported 60%).
