Serbian cable operator Serbia Broadband (SBB) has completed the acquisition of cloud and hosting firm EUnet, which it says will allow it to offer more ICT and integrated solutions for business customers. SBB did not disclose the value of the deal but noted that EUnet will continue to operate as an independent entity for the time being, although the two companies’ operations and services would be integrated. Senior SBB official Srdjan Tomasevic was quoted as saying: With SBB’s top internet [service] and data centre and EUnet’s excellent platform for cloud and hosting services, we have offers very relevant to the market. Internet services via coaxial and optical networks, favourable fixed telephony, hosting and cloud [services] and customer care make us an excellent partner for modern businesses.’ The executive added that the company was able to customise IT solutions depending on the nature and scope its client’s needs, ‘leading to a more profitable and efficient business.’
