Kyivstar launching first 3G user tests

29 Apr 2015

Ukraine’s largest cellco by users Kyivstar is testing its first 3G network sections as it prepares for commercial launch, with users in Brovary (Kyiv region) and Kamenetz-Podolsk (Khmelnitsky region) the first to gain free test access to the W-CDMA/HSPA+ network, reports ITExpert. Brovary and Kamenetz-Podolsk, both with around 100,000 inhabitants each, were chosen for the first free test run because of ‘technical readiness of the network’ and ‘obtaining the necessary local documents’.
