Zipnet taps Alepo for BSS/OSS framework

23 Mar 2015

US-based software vendor Alepo has been chosen by Ghanaian internet service provider (ISP) Zipnet, a brand of Accra-based Broadband Home (BBH) Ltd, to implement its policy and charging control solutions, as well its business support systems (BSS)/operational support systems (OSS) framework and other customer relationship management (CRM) solutions.

TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database notes that Zipnet has operated a WiMAX network since December 2003. It also offers Wi-Fi services and is currently in the process of deploying a Time Division Long Term Evolution (TD-LTE) network after obtaining a licence to utilise spectrum in the 2500MHz-2690MHz band for broadband wireless access (BWA) services in January 2011.
