Ericsson to manage Tigo Ghana’s networks

Ghanaian cellco Millicom Ghana (Tigo) has entered into a partnership with Swedish equipment vendor Ericsson under which the latter will manage and improve Tigo’s network quality and service delivery, domestic news source Ghana Web reports. Tigo Ghana’s CEO Roshi Motman was cited as saying that the strategic deal will enable Tigo to extend its footprint nationwide and will guarantee network quality and optimisation, which is crucial for customer experience.
