3G tender to launch 9 December, following cabinet approval

Ukrainian regulator the NCCIR has set 9 December 2014 as the date to launch its 2100MHz 3G licence auction, according to the deputy head of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Shimkiv, who named the date on his Facebook social network page, ProIT reports today. Yesterday, as reported by the same publication, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the terms of the 3G licence tender and Prime Minister Yatsenyuk signed the necessary Cabinet decree (No. 1181-r, dated 5 November 2014, which itself approved the NCCIR’s decision No.730 of 28 October 2014).
