In operational terms, at the end of September 2014 Paltel reported a total mobile subscriber base of 2.645 million, of which the lion’s share (89.2%) were pre-paid, up from 2.630 million a year earlier. Fixed broadband accesses, meanwhile, numbered 230,000 at the end of the nine-month period under review, though fixed voice lines in services fell slightly, to 399,000 at end-September 2014 from 403,000 a year earlier.
