Latvijas Mobilais Telefons (LMT) has launched Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) services, enabling theoretical downlink speeds of 150Mbps. LTE-A is currently only available in Riga, but the cellco plans to gradually expand the network. LMT’s 4G network is available to 72% of the population, whilst its 3G network has near nationwide coverage.
