TIM, Oi extend 2500MHz network sharing pact

Brazilian mobile giants TIM Participacoes (TIM Brasil) and Oi are set to extend their pre-existing Long Term Evolution (LTE) network sharing pact in the 2500MHz band, online journal Telesintese.com.br reports. The infrastructure tie-up, which was first agreed in April 2013 – and currently covers 45 cities – will be extended to a further 88 locations in 2015.
