Inwi launches unlimited flat-rate billing plan

15 Sep 2014

Moroccan network operator Inwi (Wana) has launched what it claims to be ‘the first 100% flat rate in Morocco’, which provides unlimited calls, SMS and 3G mobile data without restrictions or special conditions. According to a company press release, the plan includes unlimited voice calls to all national operators and fixed and mobile numbers in France, Italy, UK, Spain, US and Canada, alongside unlimited SMS and access to 3G mobile internet with no data cap, for a monthly fee of MAD499 (USD58.22).

Wana CEO Frederic Debord said: ‘With Inwi, unlimited is not an empty word. This is a sincere and responsible commitment. The package that we put on the market is a real first, a break in the area of telecom offerings. The package blew all restrictions to allow our customers to take full advantage of the innovative technology and services that we offer.’
