Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC) has revealed plans to invest USD250 million on its LIME Jamaica subsidiary over the next three years, which is double the amount spent on the operation over the past five. USD79 million of the latest investment pot has already been spent on a mobile network upgrade and expansion, the Jamaica Gleaner reports. Funds have also been earmarked for an upgrade of outdated telephone exchanges, the launch of an IPTV service and the expansion of business-to-business (B2B) services.
