Czech fixed network operator Dial Telecom on 1 September completed a full merger with Maxprogres, a Czech telco operating a 500km fibre network which became a subsidiary of Dial in October 2013, Telecompaper reports. Maxprogres was launched 18 years ago, providing fibre-optic transmission, data/voice services, hosting and ICT services for wholesale, business and residential customers in Brno, Hodonin, Hradec Krelove, Jihlava, Boskovice, Ostrava and Pilsen. Other companies recently acquired by Dial Telecom include Star 21 Networks, Telemetry Services and part of ET Telekomunikace.
